Our Long Term Missionaries

Jeff and Shannon Dyck with their 4 children, Joel, Avin, Finn and Mazzy, have been involved in ministry with the Kibaale Community Centre in Southern Uganda for the past 10 years. Jeff is the Field Director of the project, which includes five schools with over 1500 students, 200 staff, and several community projects including a medical clinic, water projects and microloans. Shannon is involved in the sponsorship program, organizing visitors and teams, photography, and homeschooling their children!

They are passionate about running a school with high-quality Christian education in this rural and impoverished area of Uganda, seeing the students’ families benefit by the sponsorship of a child, and breaking the poverty cycle in their homes.

Justine’s call is to see women understand that they are worthy and able to learn and grow as individuals. For women to rise up to the calling God has for their lives and inspire their potential in moving towards their calling. To see the next generation of women raise children who know that they can accomplish all that is on their heart. With her heart for Europe, she moved to Biarritz in France as part of Youth With A Mission to help underdeveloped women's ministries throughout the continent. With a vision of building a ministry to train and equip women on trafficking, how to invest in women from all different cultures and backgrounds and opening safe houses as a place of shelter and transition for women who escape abuse.

Sarah is full time in Uganda where the battle is not just against spiritual confusion, but cultural conflicts as well. She has been given both the challenge and the privilege to live and serve in this nation. She often feels inadequate navigating the many needs, but the Lord continues to provide the compassion, patience, strength and resources needed.

In partnership with Youth Church, Sarah is involved in a variety of ministries. Weekly, she stands beside 10 families for a Dress Ministry, offering encouragement and showing love. This ministry provides opportunities for employment through selling dresses and t-shirts to low-income families in hopes of them becoming self-sustained. Over 100 dresses are being sold each week! Other involvement includes feeding families in extreme need, donating school supplies to vulnerable families in the Nakuwadde Village, and partnerships with 7 local churches for baptisms and service, VBS, and one-on-one mentorship.
