Dressember is a global movement where everyday people use fashion as a force for freedom. Each December, advocates around the world dress up in dresses, suits, ties, or outfits that spark conversation to raise awareness and funds to end human trafficking and violence.
Village Church has partnered with International Justice Mission (IJM)for the past 10 years, and this December, we are excited to join them again in the Dressember movement. Together, we can bring awareness and fuel change so that children, women, and men can live in freedom.
A global movement where people wear a dress (or tie) every day in December. Raises awareness and funds to fight human trafficking. A simple daily choice that sparks powerful conversations and real change.
Not at all. Dressember is about dressing with purpose, not a specific garment. You can wear a dress, tie, suit, or any outfit that sparks courage and conversation.
Not at all. Just one dress is enough. Style it differently each day, borrow from a friend, or thrift for variety. Dressember is about impact, not how many outfits you own.
Every contribution matters, whether $1, $10 or $10,000. Your participation raises awareness, sparks conversations, and helps push back against human trafficking. The act of joining in is just as important as the dollars raised.
There’s something powerful about joining with friends, family, or your community group. Collective participation brings encouragement, momentum, and greater impact. Together, we can help bring freedom and restoration to those in need.
To stand for justice in a simple yet significant way.
To use what we wear as a way to advocate for women and children.
To believe that even small steps, when taken together, can help bring lasting change.
