Jesse was born in Edmonton and is a lifelong Oilers fan but moved around a lot as a kid. He spent his teen years in Vernon, BC and, after graduation, moved to Calgary, AB. He met his wife Twyla at Rocky Mountain Bible College and got married in 2003 and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies. Jesse has 20 years of Youth Ministry experience and has always been passionate about equipping students and volunteers to do ministry. Jesse and Twyla have twin daughters, Elianna and Scarlett. The Criss family loves going on adventures and having movie nights, and Jesse loves looking for coffee roasters anywhere their travels take them.
