Relief for Pakistan Terror Attack

On Easter Sunday, March 27, a suicide bomb went off at a children’s recreational park in Lahore, Pakistan. Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, a splinter group of the Pakistani Taliban have claimed responsibility and were targeting Christians celebrating Easter. They have also threatened further attacks.

74 people were killed, mostly women and children, and over 350 were injured. (More info here.) Among those killed are extended family members of the Operation Mobilization Pakistan team.

Village Church will partner with Operation Mobilization and give $10,000 to Christian families who were affected and to the community who has been under constant persecution for their faith for many years. The funds will assist those on the ground to assess and help meet the medical and humanitarian needs of the people there as well as provide spiritual/emotional support. Please come alongside our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ by praying for these families.
