Surrey Urban Mission serves the unhoused population in the heart of Whalley through hot meals, emergency shelters and medical care. They have five locations that serve the Surrey community.

We will be helping with food preparation and serving Sunday dinner to their guests.

Where: Surrey Welcome Hub (13545 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC V3T 2V1)
When: Every Sunday is open, 5:00-7:30pm. You can sign up for one Sunday or volunteer regularly.

Opportunities:

1. Meet and care for the the community by serving meals at their Surrey Welcome Hub (any day of the week for breakfast or lunch; Sunday dinners).
2. Host a chapel: lead worship, share the gospel. There are guests who started attending church through this outreach!
3. Receive and sort clothing donations at one of their locations.
4. Assist their recreational therapist with guest/resident activities/field trips.
