We believe that serving is a movement of discipleship – a place where we can live out the calling of the church together and partner with God to impact the world around us. God has uniquely crafted each person with gifts, passions, strengths, and experiences that can be used for his glory. We have a wide variety of serving opportunities, so take a moment to explore and find the perfect fit!
Below are descriptions of each of the areas that you can serve in, so fill out any form you’d like and let us know where and when you’d like to get involved. Whatever interests and strengths you have, you can use them to contribute to what’s happening in our community.
Village Kids
The next generation are our future leaders and the future of our church! Our Village Kids teams partner with parents to disciple kids, forming an inclusive community where the gospel is emphasized every Sunday. There are roles for every age and every stage of a child’s time with us, and we also have opportunities where you can serve our families without working directly with kids!
Village Youth
The Village Youth Team and Leaders disciple students through an authentic community, teaching them how to live a life true to the gospel and how to share the gospel with others. We pour into Jr. High (grades 6-8) and Sr. High students (grades 9-12) through personal relationships, transforming spaces with set up and tear down, providing hospitality, producing worship services, leveraging social media, and more!
Village Young Adults
Our Young Adults Ministry creates an environment for 18-30-year-olds to move deeper with Jesus and, therefore, change the way they relate to culture and the world in the scenery of everyday life. Our team cultivates this space through connection, worship, prayer, and hospitality. Join our team on Friday nights and be part of making a lasting impact!
Guest Services
Our Guest Services teams move people from guests to friends to family. We believe that hospitality is a feeling, not a function, so our teams work together to create spaces that are welcoming, safe, and free from distractions, allowing everyone to feel at home and comfortable in our church. If you love connecting with people, have a heart for hospitality, or are passionate about ensuring the safety of every person, this is the perfect place to serve!
Production
The Production Team ensures the most forward-facing ministries of Village Church – the Teaching, Worship, and Service Experiences – are brought to life to have the greatest impact on people’s lives. Production team members are the behind-the-scenes crew that ensures every gathering runs smoothly. They handle the setup, operation, and teardown of all audio, video, staging, and lighting equipment. No experience is required—just a willing heart and a passion for making it all happen.
Worship/Audio
Worship Arts team members are passionate musicians and artists who use their talents to glorify Jesus through music and creativity. This ministry is perfect for vocalists and instrumentalists who are passionate about creating meaningful worship experiences for people to encounter God.
