Surrey North
City Impact
We desire to see our city transformed by Jesus. We work towards this goal through mobilizing the church to fight for justice and empowerment for our neighbours.
Local Event Volunteer Opportunities
Service Projects
We receive inquiries for various service projects in the community, through different organizations and individuals in need. If you have the desire to serve people with your skillset, or profession (trades, organizing, cleaning, moving, cargo van, etc,…) sign up and we will connect you to the team that makes these projects happen!
Local Partner Volunteer Opportunities
Adopt-A-School Program – Nicomekl Elementary
This program, in partnership with City Dream Centre, creates opportunities to work alongside schools identified by the School District as Inner-City and highlights the needs and risks of students. We have committed to serving 15 paper bag lunches each Friday at the school. Throughout the year there are other opportunities to encourage the students and connect with school staff.
City Reach Care Society
City Reach is a faith-based organization that provides multiple opportunities for you to serve your community. We currently only volunteer in the Tri-cities (Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, and Port Moody). Though if you want to volunteer in the Surrey area, we will try to set that up. We serve the homeless, families who are socio-economically at-risk, and elderly clients in need. Whether it’s serving by dropping off food hampers to local schools in the Tri-cities area, cooking Sunday meals, or helping with special events, there are opportunities for you to make an impact. If you want to find out more about how you can get involved, sign up below.
