Serving Opportunities
Village Church operates on the commitment of incredible teams who serve Jesus and each other by using their time, energy, and gifts to make church happen. It’s our hope that everyone who calls Village home would serve in at least one area of ministry to grow in their relationship with Jesus and connect with other people in our community. Below are descriptions of the areas that you can serve in, so fill out any form you’d like and let us know where and when you’d like to get involved. Whatever interests and strengths you have, you can use them to contribute to what’s happening in our community.
Village Kids
Village Kids teams are an essential part of the life of Village Church because so many families have made this community their home. So, if you have a gift for leading children and teaching them about Jesus, our nursery to grade 5 classes can use your help. And even if you don’t consider yourself “a kid person”, there are lots of areas that you can serve in at Village Kids, such as greeting families, assisting with checking in, setting up rooms, Village Kids Worship, and Village Kids Production.
Guest Services
Guest service volunteers welcome people at Sunday gatherings, help them find their way, and provide the information they need to get connected and involved at Village Church. If helping with greeting, mingling, coffee and tea serving, prayer, connect desk, ushering, set up & tear down, or parking sounds fun to you, serving in this ministry is a great idea.
