First time visitor
Whether you're skeptical about attending church or have been in churches your entire life, Village Church isn’t a place. Rather, it’s a group of people that you can connect with and ask questions, receive support, and grow in your understanding of who Jesus is. Whatever ideas or beliefs you have about God, we have created a space for you in this community that will help you explore those ideas and beliefs in a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment. You don't need to be anywhere other than where you're at today to join us. Come exactly as you are, and we'll do the same.
If you've decided to join us for a Sunday gathering, that's fantastic news! We can't wait to meet you and help you join our community. Here's everything you need to know about making that happen, because we know it can be intimidating when you attend a new church for the first time.
We're one church with multiple locations
We currently meet in three different locations at eight different times every Sunday. Here is when and where we meet:
*Please Note: There will be no services at any locations this Sunday, August 20 since we'll be at Church in the Park! Please join us there as we'll have one service at 10:30am for everyone. It's at the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre in Cloverdale. Just make sure you bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. Click here to learn more about it.

Our gatherings take place in the main auditoriums at each location. At these gatherings we spend time worshipping God through music, prayer, and learning about what the Bible teaches us. We also collect an offering which funds the various ministries and the work the church is doing in the community and around the world — but visitors are in no way expected to give. Also, every few weeks we participate in communion together. We use bread and grape juice as symbols of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. There's no dress code, and our services are usually about 65 minutes.
Ask a greeter and find the Connect Desk
When in doubt, just look for a person with a How can I help? tag and ask them about anything you like — including directions. You can also find our Connect Desk, which has great volunteers and staff who can answer any of your questions and tell you about all things Village Church; how to join a Community Group, serve, or learn about upcoming events and more.
The Village Surrey South Connect Desk is located right in the centre of the building's foyer. Just walk straight as you enter the building and you'll find it. At Village Langley South, there are multiple Connect Desks right at the main entrance.
If you have any questions or need any more information, don't hesitate to contact us. We'd love to hear from you and find ways to get you involved at Village Church.
