Hello families! We are so excited to celebrate Christmas with you this year! We have created some great resources (podcasts, devotionals, Bible reading, etc.) for you to explore as a family this Advent season. We use “Advent” at Christmas because it means “arrival”. It’s when we celebrate our Saviour coming to earth. God became a human as part of his ultimate plan to fix what was broken in the world. He is Immanuel, God with us. When Jesus came to earth as a baby, we were one step closer to fulfilling God’s ultimate plan. Each week, in our devotional and podcast episodes, we will meet new people whom God chose to be part of his plan to bring us hope, peace, joy, and love. As you celebrate Christmas this year, remember that Jesus sacrificed his place in heaven to come to earth to save us from the consequences of our own sins. Jesus obeyed God in everything he did so we could be offered the free gift of forgiveness and a relationship with God now and for eternity.
