Care Team

The goal of the Care and Support at Village Church aims to equip those facing challenging circumstances within our congregation that have a desire to function as healthy, contributing members of the Church body by working to meet their practical needs.

We believe in a tri-fold approach to care and have a trained Care Team to walk with you in discerning what is within your personal, communal and church-wide areas of responsibility concerning your situation. We also believe that it’s important to support people holistically in the following areas of their life: spiritual, physical, emotional/mental, social/relational, and financial.

If you are moving through a challenging season where you need care and support, please fill out the intake form, and one of the members of the Care Team will be in touch with you.

We also believe that every member of the church should take part in caring for each other in times of need through the gifts, talents and abilities that God’s given you!

42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. – Acts 2:42-47

34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” – John 13:34-35
