Shylo grew up in Langley and now resides in Vancouver BC. She’s achieved a Communications/Media Stream degree from Trinity Western University and in addition, has pursued all things musical. Some of her musical achievements include: being selected as 1 of 6 across Canada for the CCMA Discovery Program, going on her first radio tour and releasing her first single to country radio.
All in all, she finds the most satisfaction in creating an environment where people can worship Jesus to the fullest. Shylo is a huge advocate for young girls and has a strong desire to develop and encourage the next generation to be sold out leaders for Christ. Shylo’s favourite thing to do is lead worship. She is also encouraged by the selfless act of singing His praises and remembering the promise of the cross and the grace that she has received. She feels very blessed to call Village Church home.
Shylo’s favourite adventures include traveling to Nashville to write music, getting a banana split from The Ivy in LA, and walking The High Line in Chelsea, New York. Needless to say, Shylo loves to travel.
