Wendy Fletcher grew up in Oakville, ON. She accepted Jesus as her Saviour at the age of 6. Wendy has a diploma in Bible from Briercrest Bible College, a BA in psychology, and a Bachelor of Education. She worked in the public school system in Ontario for 5 years in Port Hope, ON. Hearing the call from God, she, along with her husband Michael, left Canada as short-term missionaries. She served as a teacher/teacher’s supervisor at Collegio Alta Vista in Medellin, Colombia, SA for 3 years. Later, she worked as a music teacher for Prairie Elementary in Three Hills before making the decision to homeschool her three kids.
Wendy volunteered as the Director of Children’s Ministries for 11 years at her previous church. She loves working with kids of all ages, their families, and the church.
Wendy has been married to Michael for over 30 years and together they have three adult children. She loves to spend time in the mountains, go on new adventures, check out the latest coffee shops, and travel the world. Her secret pleasure is to finding places where she can listen to live jazz and going to the theatre, museums, and concerts. As a family, they love to play board games, watch movies, and try new recipes.
