COVID-19 update – all small groups, events, gatherings postponed

With the continued rise of COVID-19 and increased levels of concern, including the government’s updated recommendation to avoid gatherings of 50 or more, we want to do our part in “flattening the curve” of the spread of this virus. There is increasing alignment internationally that the only way to slow COVID-19 from spreading and over-tasking our health system is to reduce the opportunities for the virus to transfer.

We are therefore postponing all Village Church related gatherings, meetings and groups (Freedom Session, Alpha, Marriage Prep, Youth, Women’s Groups, Community Groups, The Collective, etc.) to enable “social distancing”.

We are continuing to work and think through ways in which we can move some of what we do, including weekly group content, etc., online. For example, the Freedom Session team is enabling ways for the course work to continue online. The respective ministry leaders will update you as opportunities in other program areas become available.
