As we “equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12) we are excited to offer Village School of Ministry’s Graduate Program, an intentional way we are developing high-level leaders for our city and country. These are the big things you need to know.
It’s fully accredited.
The credentials you receive at the end of the Village School of Ministry Master’s of Divinity (MDiv) Degree is no different than any other MDiv. We have worked closely with Fellowship Pacific and Northwest Baptist Seminary to offer a fully accredited Master’s Degree just like you would receive at a seminary school. The Graduate Program is a three-year program.
It’s about Village DNA.
All students have the incredible opportunity to be able to work side by side with the Village Church staff. In fact, students will learn the approaches and values that make Village Church unique. One of the most effective ways to do this is by positioning students in key high-capacity roles that provide a sense of ownership in the mission of Village Church.
It’s hands-on.
Instead of sitting in classrooms, our graduate students will complete projects that put them right in the middle of Village Church ministry. Students will have the opportunity to plan and execute ministry and events in direct collaboration with Village Church staff as part of their education.
It’s academic.
The standards of academic excellence are no different for the Village School of Ministry Graduate Program than for a typical seminary graduate program. In fact, all assignments and papers will be graded by professors currently teaching in Christian seminaries.
It’s accessible.
The Graduate Program is structured in a way that allows it to offer an MDiv at a much lower financial cost to students. While a typical seminary degree can cost upwards of $10,000 annually, the Village School of Ministry Graduate Program is offered at an accessible $4,000 per year.
Applications are now being accepted for our intake in September 2018. You can click here to learn more about our Graduate Program and how to apply.
